It’s all in one podcast. This is probably the best hour you can spend if you care about figuring out creative ways to grow your product while understanding how effective you are being. I have listened to this three times so far and I still want to go back for more. It is an entire semester long class on growth in one hour.
Here are some of the highlights:
– (4:42-5:40) The many aspects of growth. Jared gives an exhaustive list of everything growth-related that he ran at Square.
– (5:55-6:20) Defining growth in a company. Many teams drive growth. Growth needs to be built into a company.
– (6:30-7:30) Three parts of growth: Build, message, market GROW!
– (7:35-8:40) Need to establish the core product loop to be ready for a growth person
– (18:30-20:00) Why does Square support coffee shops? This is probably the coolest piece of information that he shares. Cannot think about growth as a silo’d individual. How can you differentiate?
